BUILDER / DEVELOPER Lead Developers Billy McCauley Graham Proffitt For the past 40+ years, Greenville developer Graham Proffitt III has been a strong force in the local home building industry and set his sights on the development phase of the business in 1969 partnering in the development of Foxcroft. He also played a major role in the development of Sugar Creek, Sugar Mill, River Oaks, Stonehaven, and now Weatherstone. Proffitt has seen many changes in the past few years and has had the vision to remain prosperous and the character to maintain a respected reputation. He has served as president of the Greenville Home Builder's Association and the Greenville Board of Realtors and has been named Builder of the Year more than once. Proffitt was president of the Home Builders Association of South Carolina in 1991 stressing the importance of taking an active role in the HBA as a way to preserve the industry. In addition to his strong reputation among home buyers and other builders, Proffitt has built a loyal corps of employees, some of whom have been with him for many years confirming their respectable position in the building industry.
